Bloodshed in Bluegrass Country A shooting at Charles Young Park in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, on Saturday evening left one person dead and four others injured, sparking concerns about community safety and law enforcement's response to gun violence.
The victims were all found in the park, where children often play. Lexington police responded quickly to the scene, arriving just before 7 p. m.
One victim was pronounced dead at a hospital, while the others received treatment for non life threatening injuries.
